Marketing Communications Manager
We”re looking for an experienced marketing communications professional with Web 2.0 sensibilities and a track record of out-of-the-box marketing innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement outbound marketing efforts
- Direct the development and content for the FiveRuns website
- Develop and implement SEO, SEM, PPC strategies and tactics
- Coordinate and drive content for the FiveRuns blog
- Coordinate FiveRuns participation in industry events, tradeshows, conferences, and user groups
- Develop and implement direct marketing campaigns, contests, email newsletters, and other tools to generate demand
- Develop and implement all other promotional materials including product literature, sales support materials, and advertising
- Manage the activities of contractors responsible for website development, design, events, printing, and SEO/SEM
Qualifications:
- 5+ years marketing communications experience in a fast-paced, professional, software environment
- Experience directing participation & logistics in industry events, tradeshows, and conferences
- Detail-oriented, with excellent project management skills and a natural desire to track results
- First-class verbal and written communications skills
- Energetic and wants to be engaged in both marketing great software and the larger direction of the company as a whole
- Intelligent and creative with the maturity to respect and use others’ ideas as well as their own
- Highly-motivated, self-starter that is comfortable taking high-level direction and executing
- Independent, creative thinker who can transform ideas into meaningful and useful results
- Thrives in a small team, wears many hats and enjoys great startup environments

Online Marketing Analyst
We’re looking for an experienced search engine optimization/search engine marketing analyst with a track record of out-of-the-box marketing innovation and a passion for driving results.
Responsibilities:
- Continually analyze site traffic, identify trends, and drive improvements based on analysis
- Develop and drive search engine optimization program to increase organic search rankings
- Evangelize SEO projects and work with team members to ensure implementation
- Research and define keyword phrases
- Drive content improvements for the site as needed to optimize results
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns
- Test, analyze and optimize ad copy and keywords
- Develop and modify bidding strategies
- Provide reporting on spend, ROI, volume and campaign effectiveness
- Keep up to date on all SEO/SEM strategies, engines and current events and keep team informed of best practices
Qualifications:
- 1+ years direct experience managing SEO/SEM campaigns
- 2-4 years experience in online marketing
- Experience with web analytics reporting systems
- Experience managing PPC media buys
- Proficient with Web Development
- First-class verbal and written communications skills
- Participation with Web 2.0 and social networking sites
- Analytical mindset with an understanding of statistical testing methodologies and an intense attention to detail
